When will you be ready?

"When will you be ready?"

"I don't know, not right now, it's a scary step to take."
It's Thursday night, I'm sitting in an Irish pub while a raggae cover band plays in the background, showing my date the business cards, I received the day before. 

I finally worked up the courage to begin seriously thinking about starting a small online business selling handmade crochet items. The thought of starting a small business excites and scares me at the same time.

So far, I've take baby steps, here and there, creating professional looking labels, deciding on a name, and getting some business cards printed. But the big steps to putting myself out there, I'm working myself up to them.

Am I any where near as prepared as I think I should be? No (Trust me I am a planner/doer, I swear I have more fun planning and preparing). 

Am I going to proceed? Hell yeah. 

"You have to put yourself out there and do it." My date told me.

Ray Bradbury said it best "Go to the edge of the cliff and jump off. Build your wings on the way down."

I'm off to build my wings...
